How to Visit Detian Waterfall


Day Trip from Nanning:


Distance: 240 km from Nanning, China, with a 3-hour drive.


Budget Option: Take a bus for ¥90 (approx. $12.50) one way. Buses depart at 8:00 and 8:30 AM and return by 4:00 PM.


Overnight Stay Options:


If you want a relaxed experience, stay overnight in Shuolong or Mingshi villages. Shuolong is just 15 minutes away, while Mingshi offers a scenic backdrop of karst mountains. Accommodations like Lanxin Farmhouse in Mingshi provide comfort and authentic local meals.

Ticket Details:


Entry Fee: ¥80 ($11).


Shuttle Bus: An additional ¥35 ($5). The shuttle is essential for the 10 km journey from the entrance to the falls.

Visiting the Vietnam Side

High-speed trains connect Nanning with major Chinese cities. Flights are also available to Nanning Wuxu Airport.


From Nanning to Detian Waterfall:


Buses depart from Langdong Bus Station at 8:00 and 8:30 AM. For overnight travelers, the afternoon bus to Shuolong via Mingshi is a great choice.
