Located in the heart of Jinan, the historic capital of Shandong province, the Greenland Puli Center stands as the tallest building in the city.

Designed by the globally acclaimed architectural firm Skidmore, Owings & Merrill, this 300-meter-tall marvel has transformed the city’s skyline.

Description

The ancient city of Jinan, often referred to as "Spring City" due to its 72 renowned artesian springs, has entered the era of skyscrapers with the Greenland Puli Center. Inspired by the natural hot springs of Jinan, the building’s design mimics a geyser, reaching skyward while anchoring the urban landscape at its busiest corner.

An Architectural Wonder

The triangular tower is adorned with metal fins arranged in a repetitive pattern, creating a wave-like texture on its facade. These fins not only act as sunshades but also absorb light, producing a shimmering effect reminiscent of sunlight on water.

A Water-Themed Design

Water serves as the central theme, not just in the building's aesthetics but also in its functionality. The seamless flow of people within the super-tall commercial complex, which includes a shopping mall and office spaces, mirrors the fluidity of water.

Vertical Transportation Solutions

To ensure the smooth movement of thousands of daily visitors, advanced elevator solutions were meticulously planned. KONE experts tailored the elevator systems to meet the unique demands of the building.

High-Speed Elevators

Two high-rise elevators, traveling at an impressive speed of 6 m/s, transport visitors to the scenic lobby on the 60th floor in just a dozen seconds, offering a breathtaking ride.

Enhanced Safety Features
